For emergencies, call 911. Hokes Bluff cooperates with the unified Etowah County 911 system for dispatch. The dedicated officers of the Hokes Bluff Police Department take a great deal of pride in the law enforcement services we provide to our community and its citizens. While the protection of human life and property is our highest priority, we are also committed to the preservation of the constitutional rights of every citizen and to the enforcement of the laws of the State of Alabama and of the United States of America. Our goal is to be proactive and responsive as our community grows and changes. Our officers are:

With the cooperation and forethought of the Mayor and City Council, the Hokes Bluff Police Department now has advanced technology available in each patrol car. Each unit is now equipped with computers which allow officers to access State sponsored programs, such as E-Citation, E-Crash, Voyager (NCIC access), and ULTRA (Incident and Offense reports, Arrest reports, Supplements, and Ordinances). At this time, our department is one of the few police departments in the State of Alabama that has this capability.
